If your wondering who this is and what does he have to do with Star Trek?
This is an animated version of Lieutenant Ayala... my favorite StarTrek Voyager Lowerdecks character
Is it strange to have a favorite Lowerdecks character? Well they're also inside the ship with the Maincharacters...always in danger...
They are the unrecognized hero on the decks below...
He was once a member of the Maquis and one of Chakotay's most trusted colleagues...
Is said to be the most versatile crewman aboard Voyager because he had served almost all the stations... including the Brig.
Ayala was first seen at "Caretaker", he was the one who beamed with Chakotay and Tuvok...
Although in the series he practically talked only 6 times
Basics: He said "Aye" when the Captain asked who else can run fast to distract the alien natives...
Scorpion: When 7 of 9 went berserk in the Brig, He contacted the Bridge " Ensign Ayala to the Bridge" when the Captain answered his call...he replied " You better come down here to the Brig ma'am"...
Fury: He's the one who stopped Kes when she transported to the ship. Ayala shouted "Stay where you are" but was pushed to the wall...and was killed by an explosion.
Renaissance Man: He was the one in red stationed at the helm, Ayala reported to Ensign Kim "There's some kind of pulse being directed to our transciever array it's the Delta Flyer" he was told to hail the Flyer but "There's no response"...
(I told you 1...2...3...4...5...6 hehehehe)
(He was formally introduced at the episode "Faces" by Captain Janeway, he was at the Operations station and was ordered to check the planet's surface *i think*)
He usually appears every other episode, working at his stations, walking around the ship and eating in the messhall...during the first episodes he was stationed in Engineering with B'ellana but was later transfered to the Bridge... his usual posts are in Mission Ops 1, Rear Engineering station and at the Tactical station when Tuvok is not around...
Let's see...Ayala been killed 3 times, had been shot so many times including 7 of 9 "Raven" and a Hirogen guy, and has been beaten to death...
Okay...okay I'll stop now...hehehe
Lineart is made using Staedtler 1 and was inked by Unipen Felt tips .1 & .2... scanned and colored with Jasc Paintshop Pro 7.0.. I got the picture of the background from a nature site somewhere *thanks*...
This artwork is based on StarTrek which belongs to Paramount....^_^
And I thought I knew my voyager Trivia, you've got it down pat! Great job on the pic, I always thought Ayala was pretty cool as well. Wanted to see more of the guy. I think he's the sercurity officer stationed outside of the comendounts quarters on Counterpoint.... but I could never tell if that was Ayala or not. It's a funny little scene though when he notices that the Captain and the Comendount are getting closer then aquainteces.

I have this insane fixation with minor characters, so of course I have one for Voyager! She just happens to not be on Voyager for the entire series, and gets one mention in the show that I know of. In'Sacred Ground,' Captain Janeway talks about her sister being the artist in the family, and that's all. But fanfiction has with great way of blowing things wildly out of proportion, so of course my favorite character is probably little more than a figment of several author's wild imaginations.
Woot. Another fun minor character, T'el. But my favorite lower decks characters are the Delany Twins. Stellar Cartography is the Way of the Future.
Good jub, keep up.

Madara vs. Obito. Whose says we can't have it both ways? I say Madara taught Orochimaru the whole body snachers routine, because he needs dead bodies to maintain physical form, too.
